Prayer for Healing and Health

Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before You asking You to heal me. It is written in Your word that the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up. And if I have committed sins, I will be forgiven. I let go of  all unforgiveness, resentment, anger, and bad felling toward anyone.

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and I desire to be in good health. I seek the truth that will make me free - both spiritual and natural. Teach me Lord to have good eating habits, appropriate rest and exercise. You bought me at a price, and I desire to glorify You in my spirit and my body, they both belong to You.

Thank You, Father, for sending Your Word to heal me and deliver me from all my destructions. Jesus, You are the Word who became flesh and dwelt among us. You bore my grief's (pains) and carried my sorrows (sickness). You were pierced through for my transgressions and crushed for my iniquities, the chastening for my wellbeing fell upon You, and by Your strips I am healed.

Father, I give attention to Your words and incline my ear to Your sayings. I will not let them depart from my sight, but I will keep them in the midst of my heart, for they are life and health to my whole body. Since the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and gives life to my mortal body through His Spirit.

Thank You that I will prosper and be in good health, even as my soul prospers. In Jesus Name AMEN...

Scriptures:

James 5:15

Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.

Psalm 107:20

He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death.

John 1:14

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

Isaiah 53:4-5

Surely He has borne our grief's And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

1 Peter 2:24

Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

Proverbs 4:20-22

My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

Psalm 103:3-5

Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Romans 8:11

But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

3 John 2

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
