God sent someone to do the
fire road for $8000.00 and he donated the rest.
Thank you Jesus.. Donations are coming in and the
man is hired and we are going to make it. We still
need your help, anything you can do will help
donations and prayers. Your prayers are working keep
praying.. Praise the Lord
5-25-10 Update:
UPDATE on fire road: Praise
the Lord - as of 5-25-10 we have had donations
coming in but we still need $1,100.00, WOW THAT IS
AWESOME... The guy that is doing the work started
today and it will be done by Saturday the 29th. We
are claiming victory by Saturday in the name of
Jesus. Pastor Toby talked to an Electrician last
night and he is going to help us get all the
electrical done. We had $2500.00 donated for all the
electrical supplies.
5-26-10 Update:
UPDATE as of 5-26-10 - R.&
S. Rock and Gravel Company is working hard on the fire road
today. We have sand in the barn and ready to be
spread out. The fire road should be done by Saturday
5-29-10. Praise the Lord. We do still need $1100.00
as of today, but know that God will provide that as
well. Pastor Toby will be meeting with Ed the
electrician today at 4:30pm to go over all the
supplies we will need to get electric to the barn.
He is also meeting with a plumber today to run water
to the barn. Please keep these things lifted in
prayer.
5-27-10 Update:
UPDATE as of 5-27-10 - R.&
S.
Rock and Gravel
Company is working hard today, they will be bringing
4 more loads gravel for the road. They did the
inside of the barn yesterday and it is now finished.
Praise The Lord. We had 47 people out marching last
night for our 4th day of marching. We have not
received anymore more donations since Monday, we
still $1100.00 by Saturday, but have faith it is
coming. We should be able to start the electrical
rough in on Saturday.
5-29-10 Update:
Good Morning Round Pen Family,
here is a update on what's going on with the land
and the March. Today is the 7th day for our March.
We will be marching 7 times around the property at
7:00pm. How amazing is that huh?? 7 is God's number
for completion. :)
The Fire Road is done, and we have a small parking
lot and the inside of the barn floor is finish. We
have paid the guy for the work, however, with a
deposit made yesterday we still need $800.00 more.
Let's recap from this week – We started the March on
Sunday the 23rd with nothing. We had the land with
no road to the barn and no parking lot. The land
needed to be cleared of all the trees and trash. The
county would not let us meet on the land until we
had a fire road and parking lot. Found out the Fire
Road and Parking lot was going to be $12,000.00 and
we had $0.00
We made a plan to stand on God's word and March our
promise land on Saturday the 22nd. Pastor Toby
preached a sermon on Sunday the 23rd
about bringing down the giants on our land and
standing in Faith to the end.
Saturday night we got a call – from a saint of God
with a Donation of $6000.00
Sunday's March we had 52 people out there.
Monday morning we received a called from R & S Rock
and they said they would do our road and donate
$4000.00 to the cause of the fire road and parking
lot. We also got another $550.00 donated through the
website.
Monday most all the trees were cut down on the land
and stacked
Monday's March we had 37 people come out and March.
Tuesday R & S started on the Fire Road. Ronnie told
Pastor Toby that he would do the floor of the barn
for free..
Tuesday's March we had 15 people come out and march
Wednesday - Road is doing really good, and floor
inside of the barn was started. We were to meet with
an Electrician at 4:30, but that fell through. We
went back to prayer for an electrician.
Wednesday's March we had 47 people out there
marching
Thursday Fire Road, Parking lot and inside of barn
was done. Had to add a few things on the cost, which
put us owing R & S $9800.00 - we had $8500.00 and
paid that. We still owed $1300.00.
Thursday we still have no
Electrician at this time, not sure when we'll get to
move in. On Thursday evening we got $2500.00 in Home
Depot cards to buy all the electrical supplies.
Thursday's March we had 32 people out marching
Friday came and got another donation of $500.00 to
the building fund, putting us owing $800.00 on the
road.
Friday Pastor Toby went to the county to take the
paperwork for the road and the guy was out until
Tuesday. So we have to wait to talk with the county
to make sure all is ok with the road and parking
lot. We also need to ask if we can worship in the
barn without electricity if we use generators, until
we find an electrician. We did have someone buy 3
Exit lights for the barn which is needed to meet
code.
Friday at 6:30pm God sent an Electrician to the land
and Pastor Toby talked with him and he is willing to
help us. This is a BIG Praise the Lord.
Friday's March we had 28 people out there marching..
Mike said that when he went
into Wal-Mart a lady ask him if he was with the
Church that was marching their land. So I guess
people are getting wind of what we are doing. Can’t
wait for them all to see what God is doing, through
our faith.
So here we are today Saturday the 7th day. This is
the day the walls come down, but I really believe
that a lot of walls have already come down. God you
are so good and so Faithfull to Your word. This
march has been so powerful and we are seeing it all
the way through. Thank you all for your prayers,
support and marching.
Pastor Toby will have a meeting with the whole
Church on June 6th about a move in date.

photo's of the work below:
6-01-10 Update:
OK Round Pen family,,,,, we have a BIG PRAISE THE
LORD
Pastor Toby just talked to Randy with the County and
he said that the road looks great. They went out
there and looked around and went into the barn and
everything looks good. Randy said he didn't see why
we couldn't go ahead and move on out there now as
long as we get the electric done as soon as
possible.
So Pastor Toby thinks we can start moving stuff out
there next week, he'll let us all know
this coming Sunday on all the details. We
should be able to worship out on our land in our own
building
on
Sunday June 13th. We will have large fans out
there until we get all the electric done, which
should keep us kinda cool. This will only be for a
couple of weeks.
We will be
out there this week in the evenings due to hot
weather around 6:30 to 7 pm picking up trash. Justin
will be bringing the trash trailer on Saturday. We need to clean up around the
pound too. We really want the place to look nice for
our first day. So if you can come and help that
would be great.
Standing on God's word works and thank you all for
your prayers.
6-05-10 Update:
WOW! God is really been busy here at Round Pen. We
are going to have our first worship service in the
new building on June 13th. Folks, and I mean lots of
folks, have been out day and night working on the new
land. Thank you all so very much for all your doing.
We had guys out late at night putting in the
electrical. We've had men out mowing the land
getting it ready for Worship Services. What an
amazing God we serve. When you wait on the Lord,
things happen! We do have lights in the building
now, but no electricity yet, hopefully that will
come next week. But, if it doesn't' we will run off
of generators until it's in. Praise the Lord. Photos
below of them putting in the electrical.
6-18-10 Update:
Last Sunday we had our first
service in the new Church building on the promise
land that God gave us. What a wonderful service it
was. We had lots of folks out to celebrate what God
has done. Pastor
Toby's message was on the different kinds of ground
for a Christian and it was awesome, you can watch
his sermon online. Today we had the Children's
Ministry building delivered and now the children
will have a classroom for this coming Sunday, also
A/C too. Praise the Lord. See photo's from last
Sunday's service and photo's from today when they
delivered the building. Oh, by the way the fire road
in paid in full as of 6-18-10. Thank you all for your help
and support.
We are baptizing this coming
Sunday the 20th of June and we needed help with some
water. So we would like to thank the Terrell Vol.
Fire Department
6-21-10 Update:
Yesterday June 20th was our 2nd
service in our new building. We had 6 salvation's
and 11 baptisms. Praise the Lord. The Holy Spirit
fell on that place yesterday and God moved in a
mighty way. Photo's below are from the service and
the baptisms
yesterday.
6-23-10 Update:
The last 3 days have been awesome,
so I needed to give an update. We are having 3 more
loads of rock brought in for more parking lot this
week. Praise the Lord the parking lot we have is
already to small. The Electric wiring inside the
building is ready for inspection (thanks to all of
you that helped get it ready) Pastor Toby called
Randy with the County and he told him to go ahead
and hook it up. Saturday we have some wonderful men
of God coming out to run the wire and set the pole
for the electric to the building. So we are adding
more parking lot, getting the electrical wire ran to
the building this week. Oh, and we also have the
nursery building on the land and is ready for all
the sweet babies. Praise the Lord. All this in 3
days, God is really moving here at Round Pen.
6-30-10 Update:
This last week has been
challenging but very good to say the least. Last
Thursday we had thieves come out to the Church and
took some of the electrical supplies and an A/C
unit. They came back the next night to wipe us out,
but praise the Lord we had 3 cowboys sitting at the
Church. They did get away, but they didn't take
anything else. We are having to camp out at the land
until we get the electric powered up. Pastor Toby is
meeting with Trinity Valley Electric today to get
the power on. We have got all our stuff done and now
we are ready to them to hook us up. The day after
the robbery we had a security company (Hawks
Security) come out and they are going to hook us up
as soon as the power is on. Plus they donated some
of the amount to do so. A big Praise the Lord.
Last Sunday the 27th we had 2 more
baptisms and lot's of people at the Church. God is
really moving here at Round Pen and it is awesome.
We should be having Horse back greeters in the next
couple of weeks, so if your driving by on a Sunday
morning say hi to the greeters as your coming in.
Don't forget about the BIG 4th of
July Celebration coming up this Sunday. Starts at
7:30pm. See you there.
7-07-10 Update:
Not sure where to start for this
week, so much has happened. On Sunday the 4th
we had a great service lots of folks came on for the
morning service and we had another baptism, that
makes 14 in 3 weeks. Then that evening we had our
1st annual 4th of July Celebration and close to 100
people showed up. We had BBQ, Fellowship and lots of
Fireworks, what a great time everyone had. On
Tuesday the installation company called Pastor Toby
and told him that they would like to go ahead and
put the installation in the Church that day, because
they had an opening. So on Tuesday we got the
installation in the Church. Today I got a call from
Trinity Valley Electric Coop and they were on their
way to the Church to hook up the electric. This is a
big Praise the Lord. Just a few minutes after I
heard from Trinity Valley, Hawks Security called and
ask if the electric was hooked up yet so that they
could came out and put the security in the church.
They are coming out tomorrow. Pastor Toby and I will
be painting the walls tomorrow and Friday we will be
putting everything back in the Church and hopefully
we will have the A/C unites hooked up as well. WOW,
lots happened this week and Praise the Lord for all
the support and prayers.

7-17-10 Update:
God is really doing Miracle's for
Round Pen. Things are moving so fast that it's hard
keeping up with everything. We have had baptisms
every Sunday since we have been in the new building,
I think there has been 16 in 4 weeks and more
tomorrow. Pastor Toby and I painted the whole inside
of the Church last week and it looks so wonderful.
You can see photo's below. We are really growing in
membership as well, we already need a bigger parking
lot. Praise the Lord. The men's Cowboy Breakfast was
today and lot's of men came out to enjoy and
fellowship. We just got a 5 ton A/C unit to go with
the other 3 and will be installing it next week.
Next project will be the Rodeo Arena, Round Pen
already has a rodeo team ready and waiting. Thanks
for your support and prayers.

7-29-10 Update:
I guess you noticed
that we now have enough A/C to cool the
place down, Praise the Lord. Thanks to all
the volunteers that helped. The church is
now comfortable inside when it is hot
outside. The inside of the building is
almost complete. The rain has packed down
the parking lot so that it is now draining
water very well, this is going to give a lot
of people a clean entry. As of this week we
have a new entry door on the front of the
church. This way we do not have to leave the
big doors open anymore, unless we choose
too. The next project will be the patio, it
needs some roof repair, some cross ties to
build a dirt barrier to level the patio
area. Then we will build stairs and a walk
way. We will be scheduling a work day for
this in a week or two, I will let you know.
We also need to finish the children's
building. It needs another door put in, a
3'0" 6'8" standard exterior door, and two
exit signs. We also need to hook up the
electricity to both buildings. We now have a
delivery truck for the chuck wagon food
pantry, it still needs to be registered and
tagged. This was donated by a member of the
Church. God is so good. We will be moving
our office building out the to land in two
weeks, this way mine and Pastor Paula's
office will be located on the Church
property. We will be cleaning out the office
building to get it ready to move to the new
place, we will need some help with this. If
you know how to or know someone that can
help us move this office, Please let us
know. The building is a 12 X 24 with a 6'
porch on the front on the front. We have
someone that can move the building at a cost
of $350.00. Remember we need to be faithful
stewards with what God has given us. It may
seem small but if we are faithful, then He
will bless us with more.
God bless everyone of you and thank you.
Pastor Toby
8-26-10 Update:
God is still blessing
Round Pen Cowboy Church and we do not see
Him stopping anytime soon. More and more
people are coming every Sunday. See photo's
from the last two Sunday services below.
Praise the Lord we are almost out of room in
our new building. We have already out grown
the children's building and we had to start
using a second building to get them all in.
What a wonderful problem to have.

We
have finally moved our office building out
to the Church property. We are starting to
get the look we have been wanting for the
Church. We have started with the office and
are now moving down to the other smaller
buildings and soon to the big Church
building. You can see a photo of the office
building below, that is what the whole
Church will look like when we are done. "Old
West" Soon we will have horse back riders to
welcome all the guest on Sunday mornings to
bring that Old West feeling to the Church as
our guest arrive on Sunday mornings.
We have so many new
faces coming every Sunday and it's really
nice to see them coming back each week for
more of God's word. God has truly blessed
this Ministry with so many wonderful people.
We will be starting 2 new classes in October
- on Sunday evenings at 6:00pm. Pastor Toby
will be teaching an Advanced Ministry School
for all those people who are advanced in
God's word but want to grow even more.
Pastor Paula will be teaching a class on
Bible Foundation. This will be for our new
converts and those who do not know the Bible
very well that wants to understand it better
and how to apply it to their everyday lives.
Our next Fundraiser
will be in the fall raising money for the
Rodeo Area and in the Spring we will have
another Fundraiser to raise money to pay off
the land, so we can start building the large
Church building up front of the property.
You know Pastor
Toby and I were looking back from where we
started in 2000 with Rugged Cross Cowboy
Chapel and we found a photo of our first
church in a tent placed on the back park of
our property in Amarillo, Texas. We had
maybe 6 or 8 people that came to hear Pastor
Toby preach. (most of them were friends and
family) and looking at where we are now is
nothing more than the wonderful hand of God.
It reminded us of this verse:
Zechariah 4:10a " Do not despise these small
beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the
work begin". See the photo of our first
Church in 2000 below. It is amazing to see
what the Lord has done for this ministry and
our vision is even bigger than where we are
today. We have lots to do in the Kingdom and
we are still as excited as we were the day
we started. Until next time everyone be
blessed and we'll see you all down that
dusty ol' trail.
